What is Yoga on the Park?
Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning union - the joining of our physical body, mind and spiritual consciousness. In practicing yoga, you will gain physical strength, endurance and flexibility. Yoga is considered, on the physical level, the "Great Healer." Furthermore, yoga helps to stabilize your emotions and keeps your mind clear. Additionally, in practicing yoga you will develop greater self awareness which allows your spirituality to grow. Benefits of yoga include:

When is Yoga on the Park?
Yoga in the Park will meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6:00am to 7:15am. Classes will begin June 9 and will continue for 6 weeks.

Who is Yoga on the Park meant for?
Anyone can benefit from Yoga on the Park. The beauty of Yoga is you can set your own pace. The instructor can guide you through modifications to get your posture just right for you.
Who is teaching the Boot Camp?
Diane Sancilio has a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. She is Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Diane completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course with Kim Manfredi, co-owner of Charm City Yoga in Baltimore. She has been practicing Hatha Yoga for several years. Through the physical practice of yoga, Diane believes that we can have a greater understanding of the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. Yoga can help us find our joy.
Where is Yoga on the Park?
Charm City Fitness' Yoga in the Park will be held in Baltimore's Patterson Park. Patterson Park is bordered by Pratt Street and Eastern Avenue to its North and South, and Ellwood Avenue and Patterson Park Avenue to its East and West, respectively.
How much is Yoga on the Park?
A 6-week session of Yoga on the Park is $150, however if you sign up early you can receive up to 20% off.

What is the inclement weather policy?
Charm City Fitness will notify all participants via telephone or email prior to a class' beginning. If a class is canceled due to inclement weather, it will be made up either on a Wednesday or Friday or within a one week grace period concluding the first 6 weeks.
Do I need to bring anything with me to Boot Camp?
Participants will need to bring a yoga mat with you to each class as well as water. Blocks and straps will be provided if needed. Yoga mats may be purchased with your registration package.
